Join us at The Center for Fiction to celebrate the launch of Black Gold by Nicole Dennis-Benn, the award-winning author of Patsy and Here Comes the Sun.

In Black Gold, a young model named Faye is catapulted from her life in a rural coffee-farming community in Jamaica’s Blue Mountains to the international world of high fashion. Through time, Faye will get a taste for a new kind of living and be forced to question everything she thought she knew about herself. Interwoven with Jamaican folklore, Black Gold explores what it means to confront one’s lineage.
