Queer Writing Night

Tuesdays in January in Bushwick: writing nights for queer and trans writers!

Bring your work-in-progress, or the muse and a blank page, and write in quiet community in our cozy bookstore. This is an event specifically for queer and trans writers. We’ll write for 40 minutes, break for 15 minutes, and then write for another 30 minutes. (Totally fine to leave after 40 minutes if you’re done.) No critiques, no readings, just focused time to write.

We have wifi, coffee and tea, pastries, and shelves full of authors to inspire us. There will be time for people to chat during the break at the end, however, socializing is not required.

$1 off of beverages for participants and 10% off books. Our coffee and tea counter will be open for the duration of the event. No purchase required to participate. We’re just happy you’re here to write!

Hive Mind Books is a queer and trans bookstore and coffee shop in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Our coffee and tea bar will be open for the duration of this event.
