Circus Bear Comedy is excited to make their debut with one of the brightest up and coming names in
comedy, Josh Johnson. Josh is currently a writer on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and has been
featured on Kevin Hart’s Hart of the City. Josh was named one of Comedy Central’s ‘Comics to Watch’
and one of Just For Laugh’s ‘New Faces.’ He is a former writer and performer on The Tonight Show
Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he also made his late-night stand-up debut. Courtney Maginnis
demonstrates why her outrageously charming comedy has earned her consistent work at some of the
country’s most prestigious comedy clubs, such as New York’s very own Caroline’s, NY Comedy Club,
and The Stand. She has been featured in sketches for Comedy Central, and College Humor, as well as
starred in the short film, “The Comedian’s Wife” which was an Official Selection for the 016 Big Apple
Film Festival. Mike Lebovitz has won the respect and adoration of audiences across the country
several times over. Mike has been honing his craft for years in America and beyond, performing in
Montreal at Just For Laughs, and in Switzerland where he won the international competition at the
The Montreux Comedy Fest, as well as making his television debut on NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
Circus Bear Comedy will debut Tuesday July 3rd, 8pm at Entwine for the low price of just $5 in
advance, and $10 day of show. Following installments of Circus Bear Comedy will feature a rotating
roster of talent performing their heart out as you enjoy some of the West Village’s finest cocktails in
the basement of Entwine Bar.
The doors open at 7pm, be sure to secure reservations for seats will fill out and reservations will be
conceded to those on the wait list at show time.
