Caribbean Queen Film Screening

This Friday March 21st, get ready for a FRHP featured screening of the award-winning short film “Caribbean Queen” (@caribbeanqueenthefilm)at 9pm followed by a talkback featuring director Sekiya Dorsett (@sekiyadorsett) , executive producer Mohamed Q Amin (@mohamedqamin) from Caribbean Equality project (@caribbeanqueenthefilm) and curator Bri O’Neal (@visuallocs) (funkyreggaehouseparty).

In these extremely difficult times it’s important to know your voice has power – No matter how you identify or your immigration status. It’s important to speak about these things even though you may feel unsure or fearful. We invite everyone who this resonates with to come join the conversation, to feel inspired and leave full. Queer Caribbean Community is here and we’re so excited to share this amazing film with you!
