The Very Best of NYC Upcoming Pride Events

June is a busy month, so save the dates for these early Pride events! Kick off your Pride month at the annual Staten Island LGBT Pride Parade and Festival on Jun 2. Community Health Action of SI sponsors the parade, which marches through the streets of St. George with an outdoor festival in Tompkinsville Park. On Jun 3, head out to Jackson Heights, Queens for the Queens Pride Day celebration. The parade steps off at noon, followed by the jubilant sights and sounds of the multicultural street festival at the end of the parade route. Join your friends in Brooklyn for a full day of activities at Brooklyn Pride on Jun 9. Wake up early for a 5K run through Prospect Park, and then drop by the multicultural festival to experience stage performances, a family zone, shopping and great food. The festival provides a great opportunity to learn more about community organizations, issues and businesses. The day ends with the nighttime Brooklyn Pride parade a colorful celebration on a smaller and friendlier scale than the mother across the East River.
