The Very Best of NYC Comedy

Suzanne Westenhoefer, an oh-so-irreplaceable diva, and more…

Get ready for an unpredictable and hilarious night of laughter as Suzanne Westenhoefer lights up Gotham Comedy Club Aug 24 with her unscripted and irreverent comedy tour Totally Inappropriate. This new show will highlight Suzanne’s continued tradition of working mostly unscripted. When she hits the stage, it’s an original night of comedic magic. Every night will feature new material inspired by her experiences in each respective city, some of which are created on the spot. Now beginning her 20th year of side-splitting merriment, she continues to forge new ground, enjoying her well-earned reputation as a pioneer on the lesbian comedy scene.

Feinstein’s continues its Summer 2010 season with the debut of the irrepressible, irreverent and oh-so-irreplaceable diva, MADAME in Its Madame with an E! on Aug 19.  Best known for her appearances on television’s Hollywood Squares, countless prime-time specials, as well as her own syndicated series Madame’s Place, our favorite puppet makes her triumphant return to Manhattan with a new man on her arm—co-star Rick Skye. This multi-media valentine to show business combines the double-entendre comedy material of the beloved character originally created by Wayland Flowers, with up-to-the-minute commentary and dishy gossip about Hollywood celebrities past and present.
