The Gabby Windey And Connor Storrie Collab We Never Knew We Always Needed Is Taking Shape
The two fan favorites are circling A24’s high school reunion comedy ‘Peaked,’ and the timing could not be better.

A24 is assembling an ensemble cast for its upcoming comedy Peaked, a high school reunion story led by Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan, with Gabby Windey set to star and Heated Rivalry breakout Connor Storrie currently in talks to join.
According to the official synopsis, Peaked “follows the two girls who traumatized you in high school as they try to relive their glory days at their 10-year reunion.” If we had to place a wager, odds are their social dominance may have expired along with their teenage years.

Gordon will direct the feature from a script she co-wrote with Levitan, a writer for Saturday Night Live. Both also star in the film, alongside Emma Mackey. Recently announced cast members include Laura Dern, Simone Ashley, Levon Hawke, and Mitra Jouhari. Details about each actor’s role have not been disclosed.
For Windey, the film is a big step into scripted acting after launching on reality TV and hosting her Long Winded podcast. Storrie’s potential involvement, meanwhile, comes as his star is quickly rising. The 25-year-old actor became a breakout hit with Heated Rivalry, the adaptation of Rachel Reid’s queer hockey romance novels. The series became a cultural phenomenon, averaging more than 10.6 million U.S. viewers in its first season and earning a second season renewal. Storrie’s portrayal of Russian NHL star Ilya Rozanov has positioned him as one of the most visible young actors in a mainstream queer love story.

If he joins Peaked, it would mark his first major casting announcement since that success. Details about his role are being kept under wraps. Production on the film is scheduled to begin this month.
An official release date has not yet been announced. With production set to begin shortly, a 2027 release appears possible, though A24 has not confirmed a timeline.
