Pedro Pascal To Appear In Lesbian Road Trip Comedy

Pedro Pascal + Lesbians = Happy Internet.

Pedro Pascal will join the cast of Drive-Away Dolls, an upcoming film written by Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke, which will also be by Coen’s solo directorial debut.

The film centers around character Jackie, a bohemian queer girl who has just broken up with yet another girlfriend, and her reserved friend, Marian. The both of them are in search of a fresh start, and so the free spirit and the demure BFF set off an a road trip to Tallahassee. Things get weird when the pair have a run in with a group of criminals.

It is not clear yet where Pascal fits into the cast, but it has also been revealed that other fan-favorite actors like Margaret Qualley, Geraldine Viswanathan, Beanie Feldstein, Colman Domingo, Bill Camp, and Matt Damon will also star in the film.

Pascal grew his queer fanbase through his role in sensational hit show, The Last Of Us, where he helped a lesbian travel across the country. The post-apocalyptic drama has been renewed for a second season and has received critical acclaim for the chemistry between Pascal and his co-star Bella Ramsey. Pascal is also starring in an upcoming LGBTQ+ western short film from Pedro Almodóvar called Strange Way of Life. He will play alongside Ethan Hawke as the pair look to reunite after 25 years apart. Fans immediately took to Twitter to share their excitement about Drive-Away Dolls and Pascal’s continued participation in LGBTQ+ content.
