Lady Gaga Teased A New Song In ESPN Promo And Fans Are…Confused

Lady Gaga at 67th Grammys

Lady Gaga’s new album, ‘Mayhem’, drops at midnight.

The day has finally come for Lady Gaga fans, aka Little Monsters. Gaga’s seventh album, Mayhem, drops tonight at midnight. In the meantime, she teased a snippet of an upcoming track off the album, “Garden of Eden,” in promotion of ESPN’s Formula 1 racing.

In a video montage posted to ESPN’s social media, F1’s famous drivers sped down a race track while Gaga’s new song was blasting in the background: “Take you to the Garden of Eden/ Poisoned apple, take a bite.” It seems Gaga’s harmonic vocals will be linked with F1 for a while; our only question is why?

“Introducing @espnf1’s anthem for the 2025 season 🍿🏎️ ‘Garden of Eden’ by the one and only @ladygaga 🤩,” ESPN wrote in the caption.

Maybe the track is really connecting with the F1 drivers or maybe the overseers at ESPN are secretly little monsters. Either way, fans went wild over the 30-second teaser.

Some even claimed the song “came straight from the fame nachos.” Her album The Fame was released in 2008 and consisted of electro-pop, synth-pop, and dance-pop. It was also an era where Gaga delivered some of her most iconic looks, including the meat dress and disco stick.

While there was praise, there were criticisms about the snippet and comments about how random a Gaga collab with ESPN is, resulting in some hilarious reactions.

One fan commented on the Instagram Post, “COMMERCIAL = 🏁🏎️🧔🏼‍♂️🍻💥 SONG = 💅🏻🔥👠✨👩🏻‍🎤.”

Another added, “this is how we get a new official song snippet omg 😭.”

Mayhem consists of 14 tracks. Three of which are her newly released singles “Abracadabra,” “Disease,” and “Die With A Smile.” On March 8, one day after the album release, she will be the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
