Weekly Horoscopes For Queer Women: Something Has Got To Give

December 11, 2017

This is a week for thinking, not making up your mind and not for knowing.

Weekly Horoscopes For Queer Women | Monday, December 11

This is a week for thinking, not making up your mind and not for knowing. Think, talk, listen, write, and read this week. You don’t have to believe anything. With Mercury going back and touching the Sun and Venus, it’s like we put a big, ole question mark on top of who we are and what we love. Personal emotions are in flux this week. We might be really busy, too busy to really know how everything is affecting us. Remember that Mercury is in the sign of its fall, making it feel stressed. When something is stressed, there is pressure on it to succeed even if its shape or not fit for its environment. This Mercury Retrograde is all about reflecting on what institutions have been in your life and how that outfitted you.

Think back to grade school. Were you told that you were a slow learner? Ignored by certain teachers? What messages did that send to you? How did that prepare you for high school and inform your sense of self worth? How did that influence your decisions later in life? Mercury Retrograde is a time when we can finally see the failings of modernity (always associated with the future). Retrograde makes us approach those “backwards” cultures.

The Sun trines Uranus this week, which is does just twice a year. Something’s got to go and we can let ourselves feel excited about it. Only by removing what is present and ossified can we create air to breathe. This is the phase approaching the New Moon next week so it is also a time of goodbyes. Pay your gratitude to something from this last lunar cycle so that you’re able to leave it for the time being.

(These horoscopes are more accurate if you look at your rising sign, sun sign, and moon sign! If you don’t know your time of birth, sun and moon signs are fine.)

♈️  Aries ♈️

What happened to you in school? What kind of school was it? What were the gender, class, and racial dynamics? What did it really teach you? You’ll get angry this week about your miseducation. No, you didn’t get the same education as everyone else. Let yourself take pride over the experience you did have, even if it is absolutely invisible.

♉️  Taurus ♉️

What has sex been like for you and how has your past experiences taught you to trust? Learn to not blame yourself by appreciated how all the ways you’ve shared with others mold you into the shape that you are today. You might get angry about a sexual encounter, even if it happened years in the past. Let yourself realize what you need to realize.

♊️  Gemini ♊️

This is a week for ruminating over past relationships. If exes are not physically reappearing in your life, they are in your thoughts. Try to center yourself and focus on what the experiences that your relationship has brought to your table. Prioritize yourself by prioritizing what is it that you haven’t experienced before. What comes back around are really ashes dying for the last time.

♋️  Cancer ♋️

Get sick if you need to! Getting sick makes sure that your immune system is working and we all need it at one point or another. It is literally your body’s method of putting boundaries around your insides so that things floating in the air can’t hurt you. Let yourself do what it needs to do and rest up, Cancer. If you get sick or stressed, just take care of yourself.

♌️  Leo ♌️

You might be rethinking what makes you really happy. Know this, Leo — your happiness is your own and it should be a choice. The things that have tried to describe your happiness for you are not on your side. In fact, it is your job to describe joy for the world. The things that gave you joy in the past might not work anymore because you see how it was controlled by bigger ideologies.

♍️  Virgo ♍️

This week may challenge you to really get to know where you came from, whether you live with your family or on the other side of the world from them. Just who is your family? No matter what, this is not a choice. We belong to the places we belong for reasons that are out of our control. Reorganize your origin story, Virgo.

♎️  Libra ♎️

This is a week of changing your mind. You’re interested in trying to figure out the ways your past interests have shaped you. What subcultures, books, or internet forums were you really into growing up? Discuss the ways that has made you into a mature person and influenced the community you chose. Let yourself talk — you are interesting this week.

♏️  Scorpio ♏️

How much money have you made throughout your life and what were the values that were instilled into you? If you were taught to shut up and never ask for more than what stingy people are willing to give you, it’s time to realize that. In fact, this is the time for a psychological makeover in terms of what you’re willing to spend on yourself and your dreams.

♐️  Sagittarius ♐️

Change yourself. It’s time to make some changes on who you are and how you identify yourself. Consider the past three years since Saturn has been in your sign – what did you doubt the most about yourself? What experiences induced that? Experience the tremendous freedom that you can get when you tell yourself “I want to be someone new today.”

♑️  Capricorn ♑️

You might feel a little out of sync with the events around you this week. This is because it’s not time for you to be conscious. It’s time for your to be asleep. Are you tired of corporate branding of wokeness? Go to sleep. Let your problematic fantasies play out so you can see what everyone is hiding from. Remember that the dreamworld is collective.

♒️  Aquarius ♒️

You’re going to be doubting not the people who you call your friends but the groups that you’ve associated with in the past. Whether you call them cliques or communities, try to describe how they actually worked and how they moved in the world. We go from bubble to bubble in the course of our lives. What were your perimeters and have they popped yet?

♓️  Pisces ♓️

You might experience some reality glitches this week. The real world just doesn’t seem real at all right now. This is actually because it’s not, Pisces, and you’re not either. Here’s your time to really believe you live in The Matrix. When you experience deja vu, remember that it’s paranormal activity. Ghosts are what lingers after trauma — they are what you don’t actually want to change.
