The Kids Are All Right, Black Swan and Glee score multiple nominations

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association on Tuesday announced nominations for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

The critically acclaimed family comedy The Kids Are All Right, which features Annette Bening and Julianne Moore as a lesbian couple, earned four nominations, including best motion picture  (comedy or musical), best screenplay, and best actress in a motion picture nods for the film’s two female leads.

The dark dance thriller Black Swan, which features a sex scene between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis that has generated substantial buzz, garnered four nominations, including best motion picture drama and best leading and supporting nods for the actresses (respectively).

The Fox series Glee received five nominations, including best performance by an actress in a supporting role in a series, miniseries, or movie made for television for openly lesbian actress Jane Lynch.

Other LGBT-inslusive projects recognized by the awards included ABC’s Modern Family and Burlesque, the musical movie starring Cher and Christina Aquilera.

The Golden Globe Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on NBC on January 16.
