Lesbians Who Tech Pride Summit 2022

As they continue their work to save the planet, democracy, and ourselves, they need to come together to be with their people, to learn and carve out time for healing and joy. Our Selves: Photographs by Women Artists from Helen Kornblum

African-diasporic, queer, and postcolonial/Indigenous artists have brought new mindsets and questions to art history’s canonical narratives. LGBT Network’s Friday Night Out

The LGBTQ+ Prom

Lesbian Social Network

The Lesbian Social Network (LSN) is an open topic group run by a trained peer facilitator for women aged 18 and older, who identify as lesbian, bisexual, queer, or are questioning their sexuality. This group meets every Friday evening. Due to COVID-19, the group will be meeting virtually until further notice.

Melissa Etheridge: One Way Out Tour

VBLI Grass Volleyball Pride Festival

Registration fees will be donated to Pride For Youth (PFY), a division of the Long Island Crisis Center that provides an array of services and advocates for LGBTQ individuals. The tournament experience will more-or-less be the VBLI Tournament you have come to know, but dialed up in spirit, good vibes and more rainbows!

Brooklyn Pride LGBTQIA+ 5K Run/Walk

Begin your Brooklyn Pride celebration getting high on endorphins as you take on Prospect Park with your fellow revelers in everyone’s favorite queer running event, the Brooklyn Pride LGBTQIA+ 5K Run/Walk presented by Maimonides Medical Center!

Yishay Garbasz: Women’s Art Doesn’t End at the Outer Labia

The 25th Edition of the Brooklyn Film Festival

Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF), New York’s longest-running international competitive film festival, is proud to announce its 25th edition, Unthinkable. Brooklyn Pride Festival & Mainstage

In addition to vendors, there will be a fabulous entertainment stage at 4th St displaying local, national, and international talent! Plus, at Old Stone House / J.J. Byrne Park, there will be a Family Fun Zone that features family activities, music, face painting, arts & crafts, story time, and more!

Pride on the Whitney Lawn

To honor our LGBTQ+ community, families, and allies, the Whitney will host a day-long celebration of Pride outside the Museum on Gansevoort Street. Artmaking and poetry workshops with Biennial artist collective A Gathering of Tribes will be offered until 3pm. Whitney Pride! festivities continue on the lawn Jun 12.

Montclair Pride Festival
12pm-6pm, free, Bloomfield Ave, Montclair, NJ, montclairpride.org. Montclair’s inaugural pride event with the theme “Be You. Be Heard.” is a celebration of LGBTQIA+ people and allies, raising awareness and strengthening ties in our community and for our friends and allies in the region. PKGO Pride Parade & Festival
12pm-5pm, Main Street & festival afterward in Waryas Park, Poughkeepsie, NY, dutchesspridecenter.org. Celebrate LGBTQ+ pride in Poughkeepsie and Dutches County with the theme “Stronger Together, Stronger Than Ever!” The parade starts on Market and Main Sts, and goes down to a lively festival in Waryas Park.

Norwalk Pride in the Park
12pm-9pm, Mathews Park, 295 West Ave, Norwalk, CT, ctpridecenter.org. After a two-year hiatus, Fairfield County’s largest Pride event of the year is back and better than ever! Join in on the celebration, which includes a family-friendly kid zone, live music and entertainment, food vendors, VIP area, and much more.

Darien Inaugural Pride Celebration

Binghamton Pride Palooza in the Park 2022

Women’s Pride in the Pines

Yonkers Pride Festival

The City of Yonkers Mayor’s LGBTQ Advisory Board, Yonkers Pride Planning Board, and the Yonkers Downtown Business Improvement District are pleased to invite you to join them at the 3rd Annual LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration. CraicFest LGBTQ+ Feature Film Screening: “Who We Love”

Brooklyn Pride’s First-Ever Youth Pride Event

Rockland Pride Sunday

Long Island Pride Parade and Festival

The 2022 Long Island Pride Parade, festival, and concert will take place for the first time ever in the village of Farmingdale. #HowManyMoreHaveToDie: A Pulse Orlando Day Demonstration Honoring Victims Of Massacre Shootings
3:30pm, Little Island Hudson River Greenway, gaysagainstguns.net. June 12 marks six years since the Pulse Orlando massacre, which led to the founding of Gays Against Guns. The unrelenting frequency of these horrific massacres—most recently, the Buffalo, Ulvade, and Tulsa incidents—has prompted us to use the day, which we normally recommit to our Gun Violence Prevention fight by honoring the 49 victims at Pulse, as an opportunity to honor as many victims of these grotesque mass shootings as we can.

Criminalizing Gender: Feminism, Queerness, and the Fight Against Wrongful Conviction

The first Pride Run, held in Central Park in 1982, was a landmark race and marked the start of an enduring collaboration among Front Runners New York, New York Road Runners, and the City of New York. The race continues to celebrate LGBTQIA+ pride and the ongoing movement toward equality, diversity, and inclusiveness. The race will start on East Drive near East 69th Street and complete a full counterclockwise lap of the park. After completing the six-mile loop of the park, runners will turn left onto the 72nd Street Transverse toward the finish line.

Rainbows on the Hudson

Lorenza Böttner: Requiem for the Norm

Institutionalized in Germany, she rejected prosthetics; in art school, she started presenting as female. Thank You for Coming Out

Part of Queerly 2022 by Frigid New York, Thank You For Coming Out is an intentional space where the performers know their queerness is the superpower of the scene and not the joke. Their LGBTQIA+ improvisers make up a hilariously insightful and creative show on the spot based on the details of a vulnerable and heartfelt coming out/coming into self story told by their incredibly talented monologists.
