Brandi Carlile Postpones European Tour Due To “Personal Circumstances”
The singer-songwriter has pushed a bulk of the fall tour to the spring.
Brandi Carlile has rescheduled her UK and European tour set to take place this fall due to “personal circumstances.”
While most of the dates have been rescheduled for the spring, many have been changed to smaller venues, some dates have been added and the Lisbon dates have been cancelled entirely.
“I have been so profoundly anxious about this decision and I’m aware that this change may be disappointing and inconvenient for many of you, especially those of you who were planning on traveling internationally, but I am hoping this gives you all enough time to adjust any plans,” Carlile wrote in a statement on social media.
The Human Tour, which features special guest KT Tunstall, started in February after Carlile released her album Returning to Myself in October.
“Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I want nothing more than to see my friends across the pond and I have done everything in my power to avoid rescheduling this tour,” Carlile wrote. “I sincerely hope you’ll all come back and see me in the spring. I promise I will make it up to you and that it will be worth the wait!”
While some fans have been understanding, others have taken to the comments to express their dismay that their travel plans cannot be reimbursed.
