The Very Best of NYC Dance

June 13, 2014

Cinderella, Floating Kabarette, Swan Lake and much more

Choreographed by Frederick Ashton and performed to Sergei Prokofiev’s haunting score, the performances of Cinderella on Jun 13 and 14 will engage and entrance children and adults alike. Venture to the American Ballet Theatre to see what many consider one of the greatest and most timeless ballets.

The weekly Floating Kabarette at Galapagos Art Space is one of NYC’s unique spectacles, featuring sexy and talented dancers, burlesque and boylesque artists, juggling sensations and beautifully dynamic aerialists. Catch the next installment on Jun 14.

You can experience yet another masterpiece of ballet, Swan Lake, at the Lincoln Center's Metropolitan Opera House this month. Set to Tchaikovsky's astonishing score, you won't soon forget this exquisite, romantic tale of forgiveness and love.

Venture to City Winery to see some of the sexiest and most innovative burlesque performers in NYC: Wasabassco Burlesque. You’re promised a night of “tease, spectacle and couple-friendly, risqué fun.” If you can't catch the Jun 27 performance, because of Pride events, don't worry—it occurs monthly.
