‘Sterling Point’ Star Bo Bragason Sends Sapphic Fans Spiraling With Soft Launch
This is one way to celebrate International Lesbian Day!
Bo Bragason has sent fans into a frenzy with a cryptic Instagram post.
The Sterling Point star shared a three-part carousel on Wednesday featuring a mirror selfie and a short video of the (pink, blue, and purple-ish) sky alongside a caption that’s simply a surprised cat emoji. But it’s the final slide that got everyone talking.
The last clip showed just a small sliver of a video that appeared to show Bragason in a photo booth. Another off-screen person reaches over, cups her face in their notably feminine hands, and pulls her towards them, seemingly for a kiss.
Naturally, people have questions.
The comment section of Bragason’s post has been absolutely flooded by fans who are taking this as a very coy soft launch of a sapphic relationship. They’ve also done some sleuthing and speculating about who they think the mystery person is, despite Bragason making an effort to keep that identity private for now.
Of course, the responses are also occasionally punctuated by fans dismissing the idea of speculating about someone’s sexuality, but considering Bragason made the decision to post this herself—and did so on October 8, aka International Lesbian Day—most fans seem perfectly comfortable assuming they were meant to read into things.
In fact, even Bragason’s Sterling Point co-star Ella Rubin jumped into the fray, commenting, “I’m overwhelmed.”
Bragason plays a queer character in the popular Prime Video teen drama, which has already been renewed for a second season. She’s also slated to star as Princess Zelda in the long-awaited video game adaptation, The Legend of Zelda, expected to be released in April 2027.
As for whether Bragason intended her Instagram post as a soft launch or simply wanted to send fans spiraling, she hasn’t said. For now, all we really know is that she posted a video that certainly looks like she’s kissing a girl on International Lesbian Day—and the internet has gleefully taken it from there.
