Lauren Boebert Accused of Having Affairs With Female and Male Staffers in Ethics Complaint
Boebert has denied the accusations.
A complaint filed with Congress’s House Ethics Committee alleges that Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert carried out sexual affairs with several staffers, several left-leaning media outlets have reported.
The complaint also alleges Boebert may have given one of those staffers, Clarice Navarro Ratzlaff, $200,000 for her silence on what happened.
The complaint alleges the two had a sexual relationship between 2021 and 2025. It also said Boebert had relationships with staffers Raven Finegan and Jeffrey Small.
Boebert has denied the allegations in the complaint, and so has Ratzlaff.
The complaint is from David Wheeler, the president and co-founder of American Muckrakers, a political action committee, Raw Story reports.
Members of Congress are barred from having sexual relationships with employees under their supervision.
Wheeler has made claims about Boebert before, including that she was previously a sex worker, the Colorado Times Recorder reports.
A representative for Boebert told TMZ, “Congresswoman Lauren Boebert rejects these allegations as utterly false and there is no truth to them whatsoever. This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait.”
Boebert told Sources Say, “Well, I’m not a lesbian or bisexual, and I have never, ever been in any inappropriate relationship” and “Nor have I ever been sexually involved with any staff.”
The congresswoman is a staunch conservative and MAGA lawmaker. She’s repeatedly gone after LGBTQ+ rights while in office.
