It’s a momentous day! Today, as Joe Biden was called as the next President of the United States, people took to the internet (and the streets!) to celebrate Trump’s defeat. Here are some of the best reactions across the web from our favorite celebs and babes. in our community and social networks.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga, who has been vocal about her support for the democratic candidate for months on end and who recently released a video encouraging America to vote (and vote out Trump), took to Instagram to announce her excitement over the candidate’s win.
“@JoeBiden @KamalaHarris and the American people, you just gave the world one of the greatest acts of kindness and bravery humanity has ever seen,” Gaga wrote in the caption of her post. “Nothing but love for our new Commander in Chief and the 1ST female VP elected to the White House. Also, way to go PA.”

Lizzo
Lizzo also celebrated Biden’s win on Instagram, posting a video of her in her (super happy) feelings. She’s silently crying in it, but anyone who has ever shed tears over something incredibly amazing knows the feeling. And while the video was a celebration, her caption was a reminder that we still have work to do.
“Let’s get to work, America,” the caption reads. “It’s time to hold the people in charge accountable. It’s time for them to listen. And it’s time for actual change in our policies and practices.”
