Kristen Stewart Announces Engagement To Girlfriend Of Two Years

“We’re marrying, we’re totally going to do it,” Stewart said.

To anyone holding out hope that Kristen Stewart might be available, consider those hopes dashed: the actress has just gotten engaged to girlfriend Dylan Meyer.

Stewart, who has been with Meyer, a screenwriter, for two years, announced their engagement on “The Howard Stern Show.” “We’re marrying, we’re totally going to do it,” Stewart said. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening.”

2021 is turning out to be a pretty big year for Stewart. In addition to her engagement, she is earning award-season buzz for her portrayal of the late Diana Spencer in the upcoming film, “Spencer,” due out this Friday. She also recently announced that she is casting for her directorial debut, a film adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch’s memoir, “The Chronology of Water.”

Stewart had previously discussed proposing to Meyer on “The Howard Stern Show” back in 2019. She also opened up about telling Meyer that she loved her after dating for just two weeks. “Good things happen fast,” Stewart said at the time.

The “Twilight” and “Happiest Season” star also told Stern back in 2019 that she had plans for how she would propose to Meyer, but wanted to keep them secret, lest she ruin the surprise.

Although the pair had met on the set of a movie eight years ago, Stewart and Meyer didn’t begin dating until 2019, after reconnecting at a friend’s birthday party.
