True Blood actress Evan Rachel Wood revealed to Esquire magazine that she is bisexual and dates women.
Wood made several references to her bisexuality in the interview, stating, “I’m up for anything. Meet a nice guy, meet a nice girl,” and also discussing her attraction to androgyny in both sexes. When asked by the interviewer if she dated women, Wood replied, “Yes.”
“I’m more kind of like the guy when it comes to girls. I’m the dominant one,” Wood elaborated. “I’m opening the doors, I’m buying dinner. Yeah, I’m romantic.”
Wood, who recently split with goth rocker fiance Marilyn Manson, also said she would “marry” costar Kate Winslet if she could. Wood played Winslet’s daughter in the HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce. Wood’s latest film, The Conspirator, is in theaters now, and she will reprise her role of Queen Sophie-Anne in True Blood when the show’s fourth season premieres on June 26.
