The March – NYC Pride / Heritage of Pride

The 53rd NYC Pride March will begin at noon on June 26th from 25th Street and 5th Avenue. Marchers will proceed south on 5th Avenue before heading west on 8th Street. After crossing over 6th Avenue, the March will continue on Christopher Street passing the Stonewall National Monument. It will then turn north on 7th Avenue, passing the New York City AIDS Memorial, before dispersing in Chelsea at 16th Street and 7th Avenue. More than 75% percent of all marching groups are non-profit organizations, and more than half of all marching groups are participating free-of-charge.

NYC Pride announces its Grand Marshals slated to lead the NYC Pride March on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Ts Madison, Punkie Johnson, Schuyler Bailar, Dominique Morgan, and Chase Strangio will head this year’s celebration, with Angelica Ross returning for a second year as co-host and featured performer of the broadcast special on ABC-7.

The NYC Pride March broadcast special, co-hosted by Angelica Ross along with WABC’s Ken Rosato, Lauren Glassberg and Sam Champion, will return for its sixth consecutive year. Featuring live performances and on-air interviews, the broadcast will air on ABC-7 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm ET on Sunday, June 26 as well on ABC7NY.com, ABC News Live, and ABC7 New York’s Connected TV Apps on streaming platforms Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and Roku.

‍Ts Madison is arguably one of the biggest names on social media and as an influencer. The icon TS Madison made history as the first transgender to have their own reality show, TS Madison Experience on WE tv. She recently inked a deal with Fox Soul TV to launch her new show, “Turnt Out with TS Madison,” which debuted on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. In 2019, TS Madison was honored in the Out Magazine as one of the top 100 influential LGBT people. Her body of work in television and film for which she is known include Trans-Me, The Lady in the Locket (2017), The Comedy Show (2016), Zola (2021) and Bros. (2022). Madison also appears on RuPaul’s Drag Race Untucked!
