Sound Bath Skating Meditation Hosted by Equinox

On February 21 at 6:00 PM, Equinox and Wollman Rink will host an evening of meditative ice skating for New Yorkers and visitors to enjoy at the iconic Central Park ice rink.

A first ever event of its kind and exclusive to Wollman Rink, guests will experience guided breath work and moving meditation bathed in the over-tone rich sounds of singing bowls, gongs, and chimes, courtesy of sound practitioner Franck Raharinosy and Michael Gervais, Creator of Equinox’s HeadStrong Meditation. The physical flow of the 45-minute class will keep you warm and reflect the serene setting of Wollman Rink and its unique shape and acoustics.

Following the restorative event, participants can enjoy an open skate after the class and sip on a complimentary warm cocktail in Wollman Rink’s rink side Hot Toddy Tent to close the evening.

All skating levels are welcome.
