SiLKY

Tired of all the gay events filled with muscle-hungry white men in tank tops and occasionally leather harnesses, we wanted to create a party that stands against the toxic masculinity that invades queer spaces. Thus SiLKY was born!

Performing is Baby Yors, a Latinx singer whose music channels the boundary-pushing pop of queer contemporaries like Ssion and whose onstage persona channels the androgyny of Prince and David Bowie. Supporting is the electro pop-quartet Late Guest at The Party, who got their start in 2011 before recently adding frontwoman Beth Hansen.

DJ Accident Report, a frequent collaborator with RuPaul’s Drag Race star Aja, will be keeping the guests dancing in between the sets.
