Queer Jazz Collective at Henrietta Hudson

Recently coming off the national tours of Naruto and Avatar, Calvin Kaleel (he/they) is delighted to be back for their homecoming show! After helping plan several QJC with Edith Hazel and hearing about them through the ether, he is finally back to play and participate in one! Calvin is tickled pink to bring a show of home, New York, and gaiety once again to the Henrietta’s stage.

This upcoming Wednesday’s show will feature songs by queer artists that are either about coming home (whatever that may mean) or that members of the band consider to be a song that reminds them of home.

As always, queer folks and womxn jazz musicians are welcome to sit in on the second set. 🌈
