Dance to the heat of Afrobeat! JUMP N FUNK, America’s Original Afrobeat Party, celebrates its 20th anniversary at House of Yes, and supporting Black Burner Project.

In the summer of 2001, the party began as an after work gathering at NYC’s fabled Shine Nightclub, intent on raising awareness about the undisputed King of Afrobeat, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. JNF is a partnership between Rich Medina and Visualeyz (Mark Hines), who together present an immersive audio/visual dance experience like no other.

Black Burner Project, a passion project turned movement documenting People of color who attend Burning Man through photography and personal interviews since 2018. It has made a significant impact in the Burning Man community since its inception. If you’ve been curious about Burning Man, support diversity in the arts, Jan 14th will be an extra beautiful night to party with HOY and Rich Medina. Proceeds from the door will support Black Burner Project’s first ever large scale art piece to be built at Burning Man 2022.
