Guided Painting Lesson: Pride Flag Sunsets

Come join us for an afternoon of pride month crafting with this guided painting lesson lead by Lottie Valiente (@LottieLottieDa)! We’ll painting 12×16 inch canvases with beautiful pride flag inspired sunsets, customized based on whatever flag(s) you would like. 🙂 We will be learning how to blend shades to create a sunset gradient, paint fluffy clouds, and minimal foreground landscape details. This guided paint is EXTREMELY BEGINNER FRIENDLY and is open to even the most amateur of artists!

All tickets come with unlimited access to all supplies throughout the duration of the event (excluding extra canvases, which can be purchased as add-ons!), including: acrylic paint, brushes, pencils/paper/markers for free drawing afterwards or during downtime, and color mixing + color theory guides and zines designed by Lottie.

Please bring a photo of the pride flag you would like to design your sunset based on, whether it is on your phone or printed! And if you’d rather, you can also just paint a non pride flag inspired sunset, based on whatever colors you would like. 🙂

We will be painting with acrylic paint, so please dress for that. Acrylic will NOT come out in the wash!

As always, high quality masks (KN95 or better) will be required and provided! This is a Covid Conscious space. If possible, please try to test beforehand and PLEASE DO NOT COME IF YOU FEEL SICK! We will be bringing an air purifier with us and have open windows for ventilation, if weather allows. The event is on the third floor (room 302), but the building itself has an elevator and is wheelchair accessible.
