Front Runners New York LGBT Pride Run

As NYC continues its reopening efforts, this year’s 40th Annual LGBT Pride Run has been transformed into a hybrid event. Our partners, NYRR, will be offering an in-person 6K (capacity is limited), as well as a Virtual 5K. The overall goal is to ensure that the LGBT Pride Run is accessible to all and builds a greater sense of community around the globe.

Each year, a portion of race proceeds is donated to a beneficiary, and this year, FRNY has selected New Alternatives, a nonprofit focused on increasing the self-sufficiency of LGBT homeless youth by enabling them to transition out of the shelter system to stable adult lives (see below for further information on the nonprofit).

Join us in the 40th running of our LBGT Pride Run and continue the tradition of stewardship, particularly towards the next generation of LGBT individuals most disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.

In-Person 6k Race: Saturday, June 26; Virtual 5k Race: Friday, June 25 thru Wednesday, June 30.
