Beyond the Rainbow: Health Equity for Lesbian and Queer Women (Virtual)

April 22 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm EDT

Free

This Beyond the Rainbow virtual panel centers the real experiences of lesbian, bisexual, and queer women navigating healthcare today.

Presented in collaboration with GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ+ Equality, the conversation looks at what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to change, for both patients and providers.

Grounded in the long history of LGBTQ+ women pushing health equity forward, this discussion focuses on practical solutions and clear, actionable takeaways.

Topics include:

  • Sexual health and preventive care
  • Midlife, perimenopause, and menopause
  • Navigating clinical interactions
  • Mental health and systemic stress

Panelists will share real-world examples and guidance to help improve care and outcomes for LGBTQ+ women, as well as trans and nonbinary people with shared health needs.

*ASL Interpretation will be provided by Hands of Equality
