Ascend with Pride

12pm-6pm, free w/ registration, Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park 1 FDR Four Freedoms Park, Roosevelt Island, 2019-worldpride-stonewall50.nycpride.org/events/ascend-with-pride. For WorldPride, FDR Four Freedoms Park’s monumental staircase will transform into a gigantic LGBTQ Pride Flag! This afternoon, the Park will host a free World Pride celebration for all ages, with VideoOut on-site all day capturing coming out stories for their online library, food trucks for a picnic on the lawn, and a visit from Drag Queen Story Hour.
