My Anaconda Don’t Want None If You’re MAGA-Trumpin’, Hun

Nicki Minaj joined Trump on stage to promote his new child investment account program, and later touted a new $1 million Trump “gold card.”

“Well, I don’t know what to say, but I will say that I am probably the president’s number one fan,” Nicki Minaj told a crowd at the January 28th launch of Trump’s child investment accounts program. “And that’s not going to change. And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more.”

It was a mutual love fest. Moments before, Trump had brought Minaj to the stage to introduce: “I said. ‘I am going to let my nails grow.’ Because I love those nails. I am going to let those nails grow!”

To seal her support, the Trinidadian-born rapper clutched Trump’s hand, standing alongside Kevin O’Leary of Shark Tank “Mr. Wonderful” fame. The visual of that intimate gesture—almost as frightening as the Chucky Doll image she later posted on X—went viral as the internet feared for his delicate skin: would Minaj’s acrylics prove yet another culprit for his bruises? Along with aspirin, too much hand-shaking, and most recently, a run in with a signing table in Switzerland?

Not to lose sight of what brought us to this moment: Trump Accounts are new Section 530A individual retirement accounts, written into recent tax and spending legislation. The Trump administration has pledged to deposit $1,000 into investment accounts for children born between 2025 and 2028, if parents sign up when filing tax returns. And in an effusive showing of support, Minaj volunteered to contribute between $150,000 and $300,000 to fund her fans’ Trump Accounts. No one knows how this will work. But we do know that she might have a few bucks to spare:

After the Trump Accounts Summit, the president’s “number one” fan posted on X that she was “finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President.” She shared a photo of a new Trump “gold card” she “got free of charge,” which she linked to her citizenship process. (Normal price tag is $1 million, for individuals who want to speed up their employee visa process, per an Executive Order created last September.)

Not one to miss a moment to gush, Fox News’ Laura Ingraham went live later with a “MAGA Minaj Backs Baby Bonuses” segment—and earned a hefty dose of mockery after confusing Minaj with Cardi B on The Ingraham Angle.

“Nicki Minaj and Donald Trump. Now, conservatives, including myself, were beyond disgusted by lyrics in some of her songs over the years,” she said of the rapper, eyes case downward in pious indignation. “‘WAP,’ I won’t say what that stands for,” she continued, referencing a 2020 song that was actually performed by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, not Minaj. “That’s Cardi B,” a producer referenced in the commentator’s ear. Woops. (Or is that WAP?).

“That’s Cardi B. Oh, that’s how bad I am. That’s Cardi B. Thank you, Sam,” Ingraham responded.

Minaj’s Wednesday summit performance earned her a few more MAGA darling stripes, adding to those garnered last year at a Turning Point USA gathering when she urged trans girls to “be boys.” “It’s nothing wrong with being a boy. How about that? How powerful is that? How profound is that? Boys will be boys, and there’s nothing wrong with that.” Plus a badge for calling Don Lemon, “Don ‘c**k suckin’ Lemon” after he reported on an anti-ICE protest that disrupted a church service in Minneapolis.

No matter. This bully has made it clear that she’s there for “our handsome, dashing president.”

“We’re not going let them get away with bullying him and the smear campaigns,” she said, protectively of Trump at the Summit. “It’s not gonna work, OK? He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen.”
