There is no way for me to remain professional and write a calm news piece because mY MOTHER JULIA FOX HAS OFFICIALLY COME OUT. I mean, it wasn’t exactly a secret. In Down The Drain, Fox’s memoir (a masterpiece and must read) she details an extremely intense emotionally tumultuous relationship with her (now deceased) female best friend. In a 2022 interview with Ziwe, she mentioned having a “gay bone” and in a recent interview with Stephan Horbelt, she accredited The L Word with influencing her personal style. So those obsessed with her have been knowing.
Now, Fox has ~officially~ used the term “lesbian” to describe herself in a recent TikTok video that is understandably breaking the internet. TikTok user @emgwaciedawgie originally posted a video in which the comedian says, “I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like, Aw, you hate that man. You literally hate him.” “Hey, that was me,” Fox says in her 16-second clip in which she replies to @emgwaciedawgie. “I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Um, won’t happen again.”
