Billie Eilish made Grammy history on Sunday night, becoming the first songwriter to win Song of the Year three times. She took home the award alongside her brother and longtime collaborator Finneas O’Connell for “Wildflower,” off her 2024 album Hit Me Hard and Soft. The win marked the duo’s 10th Grammy overall and placed Eilish in unprecedented territory at just 24. No big deal!

While the milestone alone was headline-worthy, Eilish used her acceptance speech to address the political moment beyond the room. “No one is illegal on stolen land,” she said, before adding, “It’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now. I feel really hopeful in this room and like we just need to keep fighting, speaking up and protesting. Our voices really matter.” She closed with a succinct “f**k ICE.”
