SB 100 was approved by the state’s Governmental Oversight and Accountability Committee Tuesday.
The so-called “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2025” will now head to the Republican-controlled Senate.

HB 1570 would prohibit physicians from providing hormones and puberty blockers for trans minors, a restriction which opponents say would adversely affect trans youth.
“While more LGBTQ people are running for office than ever before, we still hold a tiny proportion of election positions when compared to our numbers in the U.S. population.”
