Think Ren Fair\, lesbian edition. Featuring 14 lovely vendors\, community crafts (we’re making felt crowns and garlands!)\, tarot\, raffles/giveaways\, games\, and yummy treats from Boyfriend Co-Op… you won’t want to miss it! Bring a date\, some friends\, or just yourself 😉 \nPlease note this event is 18+!!! \nWe aim to showcase a diverse variety of lesbian artists/makers\, as well as resources like free masks/tests/PPE and free books. This market will feature all sorts of goods + services\, be sure to stop by and check out our… \n\nPrints\, stickers\, and buttons!\nJewelry!\nOriginal artwork!\nSweet treats and baked goods (including vegan + gluten free)!\nLive portrait drawing!\nTote bags!\nTarot readings!\nClothing and accessories!\nComics and zines!\nPress-on nails!\nServices like hair tinsel and eye makeup!\nMatchmaking!\n\nWe will also be hosting a huge raffle! We are also offering a deluxe ticketing format this time around\, where folks can either RSVP for free as usual\, or purchase a “VIP ticket” which grants access to special activities + freebies\, including a complementary $60+ value goodie bag! \nLavender Market is a place to meet new friends\, support your local community (while scoring yourself some cool art + trinkets in the process!)\, and come together for fun group activities like our rotating community craft. We’ll be bringing lots of supplies for this upcoming market…. come craft with us! 🙂 \nAccessibility\nBoyfriend Co-Op is located off the M + J trains and the B46 + B47 + B54 + B15 busses. \nBoyfriend’s door/entrance and bathroom are both wheelchair accessible! Here is the venue’s ADA statement they have very kindly provided to us: \n“The venue is fully ADA compliant\, including step-free entry and an accessible restroom. There are no stairs on-site. Masks will be available upon request to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.” \nHigh-filtration masks/respirators (KN95 or better) will be required and provided for all attendees. This is a cafe/bar\, so there will be drinks available. Since this is a CC event\, we expect folks to keep their masks on while not drinking. Unfortunately we cannot require non market patrons of the bar to mask\, so please feel free to stay home if that is too high risk for you. If you are feeling sick (even if you don’t think it’s COVID)\, have recently been exposed\, or in a high-risk situation\, we ask that you please stay home!
