Valentine’s Day Cards for Trans Youth

We believe every child deserves to feel loved and celebrated for who they are. By connecting caring individuals with transgender kids across the country, we remind these wonderful young people that they are valued and supported. Our simple act of writing Valentine’s Day cards carries a powerful message: we see you, we care about you, and we honor you exactly as you are.

Location: JJ Byrne Playground (on 5th Ave, near the Farmer’s Market)

Everybody is invited to write messages of love and support to trans youth inside beautiful Valentine’s cards designed by youth and adults of trans experience. Completed cards will be distributed to LGBTQ+ organizations outside New York State that work directly with trans youth.

Cards, pens, markers, and other writing materials will be provided, as well as guidance on how to craft messages of love and support during challenging times.
