My True Colors Festival is an annual multidisciplinary arts event, taking place June 14 – July 2, 2017 at multiple venues in Brooklyn, New York. Now in its third season, MTCF has received submissions from across the country and around the globe and has showcased plays, musicals documentaries, film shorts, feature films, web series originals, dance and musical acts as well as workshops for and by Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) storytellers and underrepresented communities This includes one-on-one conversations with notable celebrities and allies such as ABC’s Black-ish actress Jenifer Lewis. Come join us for this year’s screenings such as the documentary Free CeCe, RED the series, and our L Word 4.0 showcase of various shorts by female directors, writers and producers.
