The Queer Experience: A Pride Month Art Exhibition – Reception

The Islip Arts Council invites queer artists to speak on their own experiences navigating this world as themselves, especially in the current reactionary climate in which we live.

We aim to challenge the often negative narratives faced by queer people and to humanize them, celebrate, and embrace their identities through platforming their artwork and giving them a voice.
