Queers of Noise is Inspired by parties like RocknRoll Fag Bar, Meow Mix and Squeezebox, by bands like Tribe 8 and The Runaways, by the Homocore/ queercore / riot grrrl movement this defiant and celebratory concert’s lineup features queercore and female fronted rock bands, all lesbian riotgrrrl bands and trans, dyke, and straight allies, including: the long awaited return of Triple Creme.

Tracy City is a gang of salty broads revving the engines of garage rock by way of New York City no-wave queercore. Formed by underground film director Katrina del Mar (vocals), with Monica Falcone (guitar, vocals) Genny Slag (drums, vocals) and Betsy Todd (bass), Tracy City is perhaps the only all lesbian band in the world, formed entirely of perimenopausal Riot Grrrls. Think Bush Tetras meet the Pandoras by way of Gary Numan. Power retro-pop. Devo, B-52s, The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, Gang of Four. “Katrina del Mar is the best front person since Patti Smith” according to Thalia Zedek of Come.
“Tracy City is equal parts New York no wave and trashy B-movie. Think: Teenage Jesus and The Jerks or Magazine, if they were fronted by The Fabulous Stains or chicks from Jubilee, and directed by Russ Meyer or Ed Wood.” -Alex Weiss, Oyster Magazine http://tracycityband.xyz

Triple Creme is an NYC underground queercore band, known for their dueling guitars and energetic live shows. Active from 1998-2008, Triple Creme garnered an avid fan base and positive press in the US and abroad. Reunited 2022, post-plague, ready to slay again with their “rhythmic, machine-like dark pop,” This is their first full band show since 2008. Triple Creme is back! Their album “This Might Hurt” was awarded Out Music’s Recording of the Year. Their video “Team Queen” was featured at queer film festivals worldwide and on VH-1. CJ Mazzalupo – Vocals / Guitar, Robin Pickering – Vocals / Guitar, Terry Lafrazia – Bass, Tiff Wolf – Drums.
“Brooklyn foursome Triple Creme play a fearsome brand of post-grunge punk-tinted rock that is straightforward with no apologies.” -Village Voice
“This…all-queer, Brooklyn-based quartet plays earsplitting, fast paced, grungy, guitar-driven songs tinged with a classic punk ethos…They specialize in simple, unruly and sometimes antagonistic rock music. And they can be hella funny, too.” -Josh Tager for PlanetOut.com

GSX When Sarah Greenwood steps onstage, the audience pays attention. She holds her guitar with ferocious confidence, her wide-set stance and aggressive stage-presence mirroring the greatest of rock ‘n’ roll legends. In tight jeans and well-worn motorcycle boots, Greenwood holds her own in a genre of music dominated by men.
The Swiss-born Greenwood is the guitar-shredding front woman of the New York hard rock band, GSX, and she leads the band with tough, honest lyrics, sung with soulful grit. She describes the music of GSX as the “Pretenders, Joan Jett, early Hole, meets Soundgarden, AC/DC and Queens of the Stone Age.”

Themme -You’ve seen THEMME at Dave’s Lesbian Bar, Rockwood Musical Hall, Alrene’s Grocery (and more!) serving you dreamy shoe-gaze rock. They feel sort of like a beer/shot combo or nice indica leaning spliff. Kristin “Dave” Dausch, Syry Mitchell, Skyler Volpe, Morgan Karabel and Courtney Hargrove make up the very gay band and they’re currently recording their first album so keep your ears open! But a bit of warning, this music could make you gayer…founded one year ago by Kristin Dausch aka DAVE of Dave’s Lesbian Bar this 5 piece band fronted by Kristin Dausch whose soaring vocals inspire their cultlike followers complete adulation. https://www.instagram.com/themme_musics/?hl=en

Queers of Noise SuperGroup
