Queer & Trans Valentine’s at the Met Museum

QUEER & TRANS VALENTINE’S at the MET MUSEUM (UNOFFICIAL!) An easygoing meetup for all Q&T folks, of course including GNC and enbies.

MEETUP ACTIVITIES: We’ll have a home-base in the American wing cafe and courtyard, and we’ll venture out in small groups for:

• PICTURE-TAKING: Get a new profile photo!
• SCAVENGER HUNTS: Find artworks on a theme and report back!
• GALLERY VISITS: Using the art as prompts to talk about love, dating, friendship, etc!
• CAFE CONVERSATION: Plenty of time to chat and mingle if you like.

DRESS UP A BIT! It’s Valentine’s, put on something that pops or makes you feel good.

PLEASE REGISTER ONLY IF YOU’RE CONFIDENT YOU CAN MAKE IT. Space is limited, and there will be a waitlist. This is not an official Met Museum activity, just a group outing to the Met. Always follow visitor guidelines, and have fun!

GET YOUR OWN MUSEUM TICKETS. There’s no charge for the meetup itself, but you are responsible for getting your own museum tickets. Tickets are pay-what-you-wish for New York State residents! Buy tickets in person that evening, or in advance at www.metmuseum.org.
