Queer To Tell: A Storytelling Series

We are thrilled to launch our monthly residency of Queer To Tell: a Storytelling Series at Ginger’s Bar in Park Slope. The show will be hosted by Tits Morality and feature 5 different LGBTQIA+ storytellers telling different tales in accordance with the evening’s theme. The show will run about an hour and a half.

This week’s theme – “LOVE IS LOVE IS LOVE” – It’s time for those cute, juicy, hot, heartwarming, melancholic, sweet, beautiful, t. Not just stories of finding your significant other, Ms. Right Now, or the one that got away, but also finding that special group of friends, the community who saved you, rediscovering and falling in love with your self; The meet cute you had at the coffee shop, the wild and magical night you spent with that girl from summer camp, the time of your life you felt so low but you found a friend who changed all that. Anything that centers and celebrates that magical and special feeling we call love.

Seating begins at 7:00. Show starts at 7:30.

ABOUT THE SERIES:

Queer To Tell is a NYC born national storytelling series that features LGBTQIA+ storytellers, is hosted by a local drag/queer performance artist, and takes place at Queer-owned/affirming spaces across the country. The series takes place in non-traditional performance spaces to create a space that feels like an intimate gathering audiences are happening upon rather than a theatrical performance. Each show has a different theme that allows for storytellers to share the universal experiences we as a community share but also the nuances of our different identities. This series was established to document the myriad of stories that exist within the LGBTQIA+ community, facilitate and encourage community building, and claim space in places that are actively celebrating and protecting us.
