Join Out Montclair and the Montclair Art Museum for the first event of Montclair Pride 2023!

In partnership with MAM join us for a night of fun musical programming to celebrate Montclair Pride Week of Events! This event will celebrate queer artists, musicians, DJs, dancers… and our guests!

Join us for our June Free First Thursday as we partner with Out Montclair to kick off Pride! It will be a night of fun musical programming and will celebrate queer artists, musicians, DJs, dancers… and our guests!

With the stellar DJ Jersey spinning tunes for the evening, and the fabulous Stella Luna as MC, you’re not going to want to miss out on the Pride Kickoff party of the season.

Program:
ART ACTIVITY

5–9 p.m. | Geyer Studio

Join us for an art activity for all ages in honor of Pride Month!

SCAVENGER HUNT

5–9 p.m. | Galleries & Side Entrance

Pick up a scavenger hunt and claim your colorful prize at the side entrance after finding the LGBTQIA+ artists in our galleries! Courtesy of TD Bank.

DOCENT TOUR

5:30 p.m. | Meet at the Cornerstone Café

We will be offering a docent-led tour of our exhibition, vanessa german:…please imagine all the things i cannot say…

DRAG PERFORMANCE

6:15 p.m. | Leir Hall

Pop hits, flashy fits, music divas, and daring dance moves, oh my! Enjoy a specialty cocktail or beverage from the bar as Stella Luna and her girls take center stage for their first performance of the evening.

DANCE PARTY

7–8 p.m. | Leir Hall

While Stella and her girls take ten, enjoy DJ Jersey’s catchy tunes and take to the dancefloor! Grab a drink at the bar, a bite to eat from one of our food trucks, or take part in the night’s Art Activity, all in honor of Pride Month.

DOCENT TOUR

DRAG PERFORMANCE

8:15 p.m. | Leir Hall

Stella Luna and her girls are sure to light up the dancefloor with one final performance to close the evening! You can also expect closing remarks from some of the movers and shakers that made this evening possible.
