Make Sandwiches to Support At-Risk LGBTQ Youth and Others – NYC
November 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm EST
$12.51
Make PB&J sandwiches to help those in need in NYC. Enjoy the camaraderie of other community-conscious, positive people.
You’d be surprised at how good helping make 500 sandwiches for those in need can feel.
Give back. Meet great people. Make a difference—one sandwich at a time.
Join OutPro and Gary Martin of COMPASS Real Estate for a hands-on, feel-good evening making PB&J sandwiches to support NYC shelters serving the homeless, including LGBTQ+ youth at Sylvia Rivera’s Place.
This upbeat, two-hour event is organized in partnership with One Sandwich at a Time (OSAAT). We will deliver your creations directly to those in need—immediately after the event.
What to Expect:
- Make PB&J sandwiches with fellow community-conscious people
- Decorate sandwich bag stickers with kind, encouraging messages (optional)
- All materials provided—bring a hat or head covering (feel free to be festive!) to avoid a hairnet
- Your donation covers the cost of sandwich supplies
- Stick around to mingle and enjoy the community vibe.
