GETTING TO THE ARCHWAY
The Dumbo Archway is a public plaza underneath the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO, Brooklyn. It’s on Water St between Anchorage Place and Adams St. You can use “28 Adams Street” for the purposes of maps. Parking in Dumbo is tricky! We strongly encourage you to take public transit.

THE MUSIC!
NYC Queer Music Fesival is a monthly LGBTQ festival that celebrates inclusivity but also amplifies the voices and experiences of queer artists.. The brainchild of Kiernan and Price Troche, the festival curates an entertaining lineup and revel in an evening of queer art.

JOIN THE ARTIST ON THE INTERACTIVE ART WALL!
Melanie Hope Greenberg is an illustrator and author with long ties to Dumbo. She has published illustrations with UNICEF, Children’s Defense Fund, Southern Poverty Law Center, as well as hundreds of images in magazines, on greeting cards, and gift items. She has illustrated 17 trade published picture books, six of which she also wrote. Her books have won awards and are on notable, honor, and library reading lists. “Mermaids on Parade” has been called ”seminal” by School Library Journal, and included in Brooklyn Public Library’s ‘125 Essential Brooklyn Booklist’. “Down the Subway” was a selected New York Times Great Children’s Read. Greenberg was an Artist-in-Residence for the Eric Carle Museum’s first NEA Grant. She presents author-illustrator workshops, blogs for Huffington Post, and contributes monthly art activities to an educational website.
