A literary evening with Eileen Myles reading their latest poetry in English with the reading of the Russian translation by the poet and translator Anna Halberstadt. Masha Gessen, the recent winner of the National Book Award, will introduce the guests and facilitate the all-women panel Q&A. Book signing by authors.
The reading will start at 7:30 pm.
In addition to the food and wine reception, the event will include a silent auction of selected artwork from the Aleksandre Gertsman Gallery as well as art and services provided by asylum seekers.
The event will benefit RUSA LGBT and SAFE’s asylum-related work. Special thanks to the Alexandre Gertsman Contemporary Art gallery for donating their space and artwork. Tickets are $30.00
