About YERRRSpace: YERRRSpace is an arts & culture initiative created to expose, educate, elevate emerging artists and start-up businesses by hosting special events that celebrate the diversity in our food, art, fashion, music, and people. The phrase “yerrr” is an expression of celebration originally created as a result of cultural exchanges between black, latin, queer, and other cultures within mixed neighborhoods. As a culture & arts initiative based in one of the most diverse cities in the United States, we named the initiative “YERRRSpace” to give our community a sense of pride and ownership of a platform whose sole objective is to uplift us artistically, socially, and economically.
