Winter is coming and the next LezVolley tournament isn’t until August 13th 2022 (mark your calendars!), and you might be wondering how to pass the time until then…

Well, here’s an idea! LezVolley is partnering with presenting sponsor The Stonewall Inn for a new Happy Hour party hosted by LezVolley co-founder, Danielle Presents – so you all have something fun to do every Thursday starting December 9th.

The Eight Ball Lounge starts at 5PM at the legendary Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street, Manhattan, and will feature a first-come-first-serve informal pool tournament between 5PM and 9PM. Winners will get free drinks and prizes, all powered by LezVolley.

THE POOL GAME RULES ARE SIMPLE:

• Walk in and ask to be added to the games waiting list – each entry is only $1.50, and you can sign up solo or with a partner (Cash or Venmo accepted).

• Get a drink, hang out, and wait until your name is called to enter the games.

• Follow directions about who you are playing against: the winners of the previous games. If you win, you take the table away from your competition.

• Keep the table as long as you win – the challengers will pay for their entry to try and beat you.

• Win 3 games in a row to get a free drink of your choice per player – OR pick from Danielle’s secret prize bag!! Drinks and prizes are powered by LezVolley.

If you lose and want to enter again, you’ll have to pay the $1.50 fee again.

Sounds easy enough, right? Get your friends, meet at Stonewall in December, meet new people and play some pool! It’s not volleyball, but it’s still fun!

And if you don’t feel like playing pool, no worries! You can still come and hang out, watch the games, and do whatever it is that you go to bars for! There is no cover or obligation to play!
