Queer Rope Social NYC is a monthly social gathering for queer folks who are interested in rope bondage. Attendees at Queer Rope Social can explore and experience rope ties, learn and practice rope, ask questions, and socialize with fellow queer folks who share an interest in rope. We prioritize consent and creating a low-key, welcoming environment that centers queer, trans, and non-binary people. You can just hang out and talk to people if that’s what you want to do (participation in rope activities is not required or expected).

All levels of rope experience are welcome! Attendees at Queer Rope Social range in experience from absolute beginners to advanced rope instructors.

If you self-identify as queer–-whatever that means to you–-then you’re “queer enough” to attend and very much welcome at this event! All genders are welcome!

Queer Rope Social is an 18+ event.

If you have rope, then definitely bring your rope!
There is a limited amount of rope available to borrow for people who do not bring their own rope.
There is also some rope available for purchase.

Doors open at 7:00pm, and doors close by 7:30pm. Make sure to arrive by 7:30pm!

All attendees must show proof of vaccination.
If you show a negative COVID test (such as a photo of home test or a lab test) from within 24 hours of the event, then a mask is not required.
If you do not have a negative COVID test result from within 24 hours of the event, then N95/KN95/KN95/KN94 masks are required when you are not actively eating or drinking. If you need to temporarily take off your mask to drink/eat, please respect the mask-related boundaries of the people near you.

Queer Rope Social is a no-alcohol event.
