Darrell Grand Moultrie has established himself as one of America’s most diverse and sought-after choreographers and master teachers. A recipient of the Princess Grace Choreography Fellowship Award, he is one of the few choreographers simultaneously working in theatre, modern dance, ballet, and commercial dance.

On May 9, dancers of all levels and backgrounds are invited to an exciting workshop with Darrell Grand Moultrie just weeks before Ailey’s 32 extraordinary dancers perform his world premiere – and company debut – during their Lincoln Center season (June 12-16, 2019). Mr. Moultrie’s workshop is a seamless blend of ballet, jazz, and modern dance styles grounded in strong technique. The class will focus on performance-driven movement and musicality and encourage dancers to explore their physical possibilities while finding the joy in dance.
