Comedian, writer, actress, and Philadelphia native Chanel Ali is recording her first comedy album at Caveat!
You may have seen her as the host of the Food Network digital series FOOD DEBATE! or cast member on MTV’s GIRL CODE. Chanel is a New York City favorite, with her commanding stage presence and story-telling style, which covers her upbringing, her unique worldview, and the realities of being a polite person in the entertainment industry.
Chanel has performed at the Limestone Comedy Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival, and the All Jane Comedy Festival, and appears in the Starz series NIGHT TRAIN WITH WYATT CENAC. In 2018, Chanel was featured on the dias of the Friar’s Club Roast of Gloria Allred (where is she is now a member), and, in 2019, she has written for the @NetflixisaJoke social media accounts.
