12PM | Xposure ClubX /Xposure Edutainment Network (XEN) Presents: The Club X Zone (Marcelle J. Lashley)
NY Emmy Award Nominated Xposure Edutainment Network (XEN) is a diversified youth-centric entertainment and media enterprise that provides a platform for youth to be the change they want to see on TV! With content ranging from music videos, PSA’s and movies tackling the seriousness of financial literacy, women’s rights and other social justices – to the childlike hilarity of comedic sitcoms and spoofs, the Club X zone is a safe and enriching place for the youth to become trapped.

1PM | You Gotta Believe & The Adopting Teens & Tweens Show (Astrudge Mclean)
Today, more than 400,000 children are in foster care in the US, and every year, as many as 25,000 of them will age out of the system. The Adopting Teens & Tweens Show produced by You Gotta Believe! has aired on Brooklyn Free Speech since 2002 placing more than 450 youth with permanent families— ensuring that no child has to face adulthood alone.

2PM | Cooking with Color 4 Kids (David Hillman, Kristen Hess)
Cooking with Color 4 Kids is a monthly interactive TV show that teaches kids and their parents how to cook healthy, nutritional dishes using fresh fruits, vegetables, and seasonal ingredients.

Brooklyn Free Speech Stage takes place Fridays 6-10pm and Saturdays 12-4pm, on March 24, 25, April 21, 22, May 5, 6.

This program is taking place in conjunction with the Public Access/Open Networks exhibition, on view at BRIC House through May 7, 2017.
