What is Valentine’s day if it ain’t black? What is love if it ain’t queer? America’s been feeling like a real hopeless place — but you’re gunna find love in this sanctuary. Join the after party to celebrate the birth of a new black, queer performance piece holding: a queer black love story by Alex Farr and Kimiko Matsuda-Lawrence. Their play will be performed earlier in the evening. Bring a bae or find a bae on Valentine’s day and celebrate our endless ability to tenderly love, uplift, and celebrate each other as a QTPOC community — at a time where we are being targeted and attacked for doing just that. Music vibes by DJ ADAIR all night life.
